Whats The Difference Between Vjeko Sagar and Francis Bruguière's photo?
Francis Bruguière Made his photo by using a cut up piece of card or paper. He makes his photos by manipulating the piece of card/paper. his curves are very smooth and silky. the light is projected behind and above the card/paper. 3 words I would use to describe the photo are Curvilinear, precise and swirling.
Vjeko Sagar made his photo by using slits in card or paper. His lines are sharp and rigid. The light he uses is natural. 3 words I would use to describe the photo are simple, sharp-edged and linear.
I prefer Vjeko Sagar's photo because it is simple and you don't need to put too much effort to make the photo.

Noticing The Light
I drew these photos. I tried to recreate the photos, focusing mainly on the light and the shade. it was tough from the start, I had to the rubber consistently and I made the lighter shades by pressing down on the pen lightly or hard. I had to use different types of techniques with the pencil. Also, I had to use smudges to get the lighter shades. It was long and painful for me because I had to use lots of detail in my work.
